David Dantowitz started offering ZipServe Hosting Services in 1998, providing custom solutions, development and hosting for location-based and non-location-based internet search tools for your data and directories.

        The Institute for Dental Implant Awareness (IDIA) -- MissingTeeth.org, uses a multi-table relational database, search for Mesa, AZ, for a representative search result, and click a doctor or practice for detailed results.

        Find an Arrangement — Search for a four-part Barbershop Harmony Arrangement in the Barbershop Harmony Society's database.

        The DATIA Search Page — a search with over 40 different criteria beyond distance to a location. It also shows a multi-level search result, where the first page is a summary, listing many locations and each can be clicked for a more detailed result, including a map link and data from a second relationally-linked database. Pricing

ZipServe Hosting starts at $35/month for non-location based searches and / or for either US or Canadian locations and $65/month for both US and Canada. You get 100,000 searches per month or up to 25Gb of traffic a month and are charged the same monthly rate for additional blocks of 100,000 searches or 25Gb or traffic, which ever comes first (terms subject to change).

Set up costs range from $150 to $300 for a simple site. The set up cost for a complex or relational database search can be much higher.

You have access to your search and result pages, log files, and database and may update them yourself via FTP. At your option, we can take care of updates for you based on a minimum 1/2 hour of service. Also, if you update your search yourself and require assistance the hourly rate for service also applies with a 1/2 hour minimum.
